Hi @Abhigt,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how alarming it feels when your HP Pavilion with Ryzen 5 suddenly shuts down and won’t turn back on, especially when all you see is a blinking power light and no signs of life from the screen, keyboard, or Caps Lock. Let’s walk through this together thoroughly.

1. Perform a Hard Reset

This clears residual power and resets hardware connections.

Steps:

  1. Disconnect the charger.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  3. Connect the charger (without battery if removable).
  4. Try powering on again.

2. Check Blink Pattern

If the power button blinks in a specific pattern (e.g., 3 long, 2 short), it may be a diagnostic code.

  • Count the blinks and let me know the pattern.
  • HP uses blink codes to indicate issues with BIOS, memory, or CPU.

3. Reseat RAM (if accessible)

If you're comfortable opening the back panel:

  1. Remove the battery and charger.
  2. Open the back cover.
  3. Carefully remove and reinsert the RAM sticks.
  4. Reconnect the power and try turning it on.

4. Try BIOS Recovery

If the system supports, it:

  1. Press and hold Windows + B, then press and hold Power for 2–3 seconds.
  2. Release Power, but keep holding Windows + B for 10 seconds.
  3. If successful, the  BIOS recovery screen should appear.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
