If your HP Victus laptop encounters a blank screen while using it, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
Check the Power Source: Ensure the laptop is connected to a working power outlet and the charger is functioning properly. You can try a different power outlet or charger if available.
Reset the Laptop: If the laptop still won't power on, try a hard reset. Here's how:
- Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove the laptop's battery (if it's removable).
- Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and plug in the charger, then try to power on the laptop.
Inspect for Damage: Check the laptop's screen and body for any visible damage.
BIOS Reset: If you've recently performed undervolting through the OMEN Gaming Hub, which might have caused instability, you can try resetting the BIOS settings. This can be done by powering off the unit and pressing the power button, holding it for more than 10 seconds to reset the Embedded Controller (EC), and then powering on the unit again Source.
Contact HP Support: If your laptop is still under warranty and these steps don't resolve the issue, consider contacting HP Phone Support for further assistance or to request a warranty repair.
