Hello, so I don't really have an issue. I have more of a question. Let me begin by saying that I am looking for a HP Victus laptop that's capable of high-end games. This one https://www.staples.ca/products/3087226-en-hp-victus-161-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-7640hs-rtx-3050-5... That I found on Staples is something I wanna buy. The only problem is that it says its 144hz but in comments some people ask if its 144 hz and the community says its 60 hz and some dont. So please tell me which it is quickly as possible before the 26th.

Hi @Alek21

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Great question—and I totally get why you'd want to be sure before making the leap on a gaming laptop.

The Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-s0000 series offers various display panel options that cater to different preferences and gaming needs. Here are details about the available display panels:

Display Panel Options:

  1. QHD (2560 x 1440):
    • 240 Hz, 3 ms response time, IPS, micro-edge, antiglare, Low Blue Light, 300 nits, 100% sRGB, TUV and Eyesafe® Display for Low Blue Light (Available only with NVIDIA RTX™ 4070, 4060, and 4050 graphics cards)
    • 165 Hz, 3 ms response time, IPS, micro-edge, antiglare, Low Blue Light, 300 nits, 100% sRGB, TUV and Eyesafe® Display for Low Blue Light (Available only with NVIDIA RTX™ 4070, 4060, and 4050 graphics cards)
  2. FHD (1920 x 1080):
    • 144 Hz, 7 ms response time, IPS, micro-edge, antiglare, Low Blue Light, 300 nits, 100% sRGB, TUV and Eyesafe® Display for Low Blue Light
    • 144 Hz, IPS, micro-edge, antiglare, 250 nits, 45% NTSC
    • Standard IPS, micro-edge, antiglare, 300 nits, 100% sRGB

Given the details you found on Staples, it’s likely referring to the FHD 144 Hz options. However, it's important to note that differences in reviews or comments about the specifications can arise from variation in models or configurations.

Ensure Correct Specifications:

  1. Visit HP’s Official Page: For the most accurate specifications, always refer to HP’s official product description or user manual.
  2. Check Display Panel: Confirm with the retailer about the exact display panel configuration to ensure it matches your needs.

Consider Compatibility and Performance:

The Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop is well-suited for high-end gaming, and the 144 Hz FHD display offers a good balance of refresh rate and resolution for a smooth gaming experience.
