I am gonna buy this hp victus gaming laptop, if I change the OS on it, will it affect the warranty?

This is a peer-to-peer forum.  We do not work for or represent HP, so we are unable to address any warranty questions/concerns.

 

I recommend you contact HP customer service and get an answer from them.

I can tell you that if you remove the factory installed operating system and your notebook needs warranty service, you will have to return the notebook to its original factory configuration prior to sending it in for repairs.

 

That may be hard to do if you can't get into Windows.
