Product: HP Pavilion Gaming laptop 15-cx0030nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can not charge my hp pavilion gaming laptop when laptop is ON but laptop is OFF i can charge with charger that came with it..

It show massage that you are using low watts charger, use high watts charger..Charger it came with it has 45 watts.

So how many watts charger I need to charge my laptop when it is ON??

Was your machine purchased used by chance? If so, someone didn't provide the correct power supply.

It requires 150w adapter part number 917649-850.

It is available in the HP Parts store, but probably not in your country.

You would have to look online for a matching adapter 19.5Volt   7.7Amp

Note when shopping for an adapter, the amperage can be higher than rated, but the voltage must be exact.
