Hp Omen 15-dh0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My HP omen laptop has recently been unable to connect to my tv via HDMI cable, in addition to this I have been unable to change the brightness of the screen. I am not given any option of changing the screen brightness, the the FN + F1/F2 buttons do nothing. If i try to change the brightness via  Intel graphics command centre similarly nothing happens.

Please can you advice what I can do to help solve these problem/what information is needed from me?

Cheers,

Ryan

HP customer support fixed the issue. A windows update had failed, resulting in my display adaptor disconnecting and being unable to reconnect. They deleted and reinstalled the erroneous update.

For HDMI, please check the cable itself, plug in and pull out more often can cause some problems with HDMI ports (both ends). For brightness: did you change the option ? If not, please try  F1 and F2, without Fn key.

Regards.
