Hi @Ishwar45,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your Victus by HP 16.1" Gaming Laptop doesn’t show the Wake on AC option in BIOS even after updating. Let’s go through a few checks.

1. Confirm BIOS Update Installed Properly

Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter BIOS.

On the main screen, confirm the BIOS version matches the latest available on HP’s support page for your exact model (16-e0000).

2. Look in the Correct BIOS Menu

The Wake on AC / Power on AC setting, if supported, is usually under:

Advanced > Power Management Options, or

System Configuration > Boot Options.

If you don’t see it there, your system may not support it.

For many Victus and Pavilion gaming laptops, HP does not include “Wake on AC” functionality in BIOS.

It’s more commonly available in HP EliteBook, ProBook, and business-class devices.

3. Use Alternatives (Workarounds)

If your goal is to auto power-on after AC is restored (for UPS or remote setups), you can try:

Windows Task Scheduler with Wake Timers (works if the laptop is in sleep, not shutdown).

BIOS Scheduled Power On (some models support setting a fixed time to auto power on).

External smart plugs with Always-On USB (if supported).

I hope this helps.
