HP Omen, gaming laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello I do not speak english very well. I dont know the exact name of my HP omen, but it is version with gtx 1070.

Every single game I play gets freezed in 10 minutes while in the game. I tried recovery, uninstalling graphics driver.. Installing older ones and so. When I get this freeze I can tap on start button so it shows me start menu but I can not alt+tab or alt+f4...

Usually restart the laptop. I can actually alt+f4 in one game. I tried alot of drivers. I tried changing resolution and things similiar with display. If there is anyone who understands my english and could help me, I would apreciate it :D. But really I cant play any game like this.

@Karerushi

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

HP provides diagnostic software for testing hardware components on your computer and confirms hardware failures.

Use the following instructions to open the System Tests menu in the software:

  1. In Windows, search for HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows and select Run as administrator.

    If this app is not on your computer, download the latest version from the HP Hardware Diagnostics website.

    selecting Run as administrator

  2. On the main menu, click System Tests.

  3. The System Tests menu opens.

@Karerushi
Let's try reducing the visual effects for windows to save the amount of CPU & Graphics card usage required to run your game properly.

Here's how you do it:

  • Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.

  • Type performance > choose to Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.

  • In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.

  • click Apply and ok...this should do the trick.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

@Karerushi
Are you experiencing the same issue while playing video?

Have you tried changing the GAME graphics display settings?

Is it with all the games?

Let's try chipset and graphics card drivers update on your PC from our HP support website, using this link.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
