HP omen 15 dh0006la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Could you help me? I tried to replace the intel optane in the HP omen 15 dh0006la for a1 tb nvme ssd. First I disabled the optane from windows, at that point I sow in Bios menu the  32 GB optane drive and the 500 GB SSD. After that, I turn the laptop of to replace the drive. I turn on the laptop and it shows this error "Boot device not found, please install an operative system in your hard disk".  I looked in the Bios, but I couldn't see the drives, it does not recognize the nvme or the Sata SSD. I put back the intel optane and it boot again to windows, I restarted to see if I could disable the optane in the bios, but at that point, it did not show the drives again, after that I was not able to boot, any idea why, any help? it is just a new laptop.

@Davidcho Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting a boot device not found after replacing the optane memory.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please let us know the operating system is installed on the hard drive or SSD.

According to the manual support.

Intel Optane™ (3D Xpoint) Solution

(PCIe) Gen3 × 2, solid-state drive 32 GB (Optane) + 512 GB,

PCIe-3 × 2 × 2 solid-state drive 16 GB (Optane) + 1 TB, 7200 rpm hard drive.

Please have a look at the manual ( page number 2 Chapter 1)

Already found a solution? I have the same problem ... 2 months passed and there is no answer to the problem mentioned.
