Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a different brand of 16 gb ram with the same settings on my HP pavilion  laptop with 4+4 ram installed. I removed one of the 4 gb ram and installed a new one, but when I look at the pc properties, the installed ram says 20.0 GB (usable: 3.38 GB), how can I fix this problem?
