I've never turned this option on, but today it just popped up saying i should change it to 80% ,and from what i know that is better than having it always at 100%, i always keep my laptop plugged in and at night i unplug it after i shut it off, but my main question is-will my gaming performance drop if i use the 80% Battery care option or not?

80% means battery won't run longer but performance should be the same. When playing games, using main is the right move to get bettor performance.
