Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Laptop is HP Pavilion Power laptop 15-cb0xx , with 16 GB ram and a 1050ti. I was gaming and suddenly I started seeing weird patterns which then led to the computer being stuck, and this the laptop restarted 2 times and it was okay after that. I then uninstalled all the gtx 1050ti graphic card drivers and reinstalled the latest ones. I then played another game to test out whether the problem got resolved or not. and this time again the same problem came, i even tried to reset the GPU with the ctrl+shift+windows+B, and nothing happened. I had to force shut down the laptop. Any Help with what might be the case?

@Mark414

That normally means the video card is too hot. Please

  • Do not run games or machine for too long,
  • Keep good ventilation around machine,
  • Use machine in a cooler room,
  • Use cooling pad for machine

Regards.

Thank you for helping me out.  If there is heat damage to the graphic  card, how would I know. And is this kind of damage repairable?
