Product: Omen Laptop 17-an012dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Its an omen laptop model 17-a012dx that has intel i7 7gen, i checked and it does have a M.2 port but i would like to be sure if it would work.

All I can offer is my opinion. Technically it should work, but that series didnt come with Optane preinstalled.

I have seen previous posts where users could not get it to work for what ever reason.

Because of this, I would encourage you to consider spending a little more money and install an M.2 SSD instead of Optane. Put your OS on the new SSD and leave the HDD for storage. An SSD will perform faster than using Optane.

 

If you do try Optane, you will need the latest bios and storage driver.
