Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I have quite of an annoying problem, and I demand HP solve this ASAP because it damages my Laptop. For quite a while now, I was unable to update to the latest version of the Bios that was recommended for me, FOR this specific device. I keep getting the same message, saying that the Bios is not compatible with my pc. This brought a lot of problems to my pc, which are frustrating and make my pc pretty much useless. I think my Bios is corrupted or got a virus or something. Or maybe Windows has done something. I literally have no clue.  I talk about the Bios because, after further investigation, I discovered that some of my components such as the webcam and the GPU fan doesn't work at all. The webcam is not recognized at all, while the GPU fan is not even working. It does not have any electricity whatsoever. I tried everything. Used UEFI and made every test possible, tried to install all the drivers for the fan, for the webcam, for the PC's integrity overall. Nothing worked. My GPU is running constantly at 50C, even with a lot of space below the computer and a huge fan that pushes air underneath it. The temperature of the CPU is at 45C. I think that the Bios has something to do with it. I tried downgrading the Bios, no luck. I tried updating it, no luck. In addition, while the computer overheats, it shuts down itself as a safety measure, so the components don't die. The pc, after restarting, took as long as 25 minutes in the boot, with massive lags and the caps lock blinking in the first minute, to then stop but still, black screen. I require immediate assistance because I really need my pc up and working again.

I thank you for your assistance.

Here are the photos and the temperatures, plus the fan info. On the app, fan2 is running at 266 RPM. Don't trust that, it literally doesn't work.Screenshot (16).pngScreenshot (17).png

@Avillian

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I would suggest performing a system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software will be removed.

While doing the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.

Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows )You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Note: system fan controlled by the system

Uninstall the Omen command centre you have and download the new one from the Microsoft App store at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/omen-command-center/9nqdw009t0t5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
