OMEN 15-ce018nm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i have an HDD in my laptop and im planning on inserting and NVMe SSD. I know that my model has a slot for it, i need to know how can i check if my motherboard is compatible with NVMe booting. I know it depends on the chipset that the motherboard has but i can find anywhere which it chipset is.

@RandomDude123

Could be new way(s) elsewhere but I always use my classic way which is 100% successful rate (I do this at least 4 times each year)

(a) Clone existing HDD to new drive,

(b) Install new drive and remove old drive,

(c) Run on new drive for few days or a week,

(d) When happy, format/clear old HDD and put it back for storage.

Regards.
