Hi,
Can someone please help me out with a query?
Does HP Omen 15-dc1088wm with gtx1660ti comes with Intel HD graphics. I have booked the laptop but totally forgot to check this fact.
Thank you

Hello @Teerth
No it does not support switchable (integrated Intel UHD) graphics.
It only uses the dedicated NVIDIA graphics card.
Hope that helps.

Thank you sir for the reply
Now that I have already placed an order, can you please tell me should I be worried of fan noise during ideal office sessions like using Excel & battery drain since laptop is going to run 1660ti all the time.
Thank you

Hmm, that I cant really say since I dont have it in my hands to test.
But I have heard from other users that those gaming laptops aren't always ideal in Office scenarios because of the fans running.
Its not going to be quiet like an HP Specter for example, since its hardware is more heavy duty.
But it will have the Omen Command Center. Open it and click on the Performance section. Choose the Comfort Mode and the heat should stay at a minimum for all that low end functioning of spread sheets and such.
Please do come back and let me know how that works out, if you would be so kind.
🙂

Oh and battery longevity... They are not all that great on battery only. Expect 2.5-3.5 hours roughly speaking in real time usage, unless you're gaming.
IF you can keep it plugged in whenever you can, it would be more practical.
And if gaming, you need to absolutely keep it plugged in.

Yes you can add a 1 or 2 TB HDD, or a SATA SSD.
But you need to open the case and see if the brackets and cable is there to mount it with.
If its not, you would need these parts....
Hard drive cable connector: 929450-001
Hard drive brackets: 929561-001
You can order them via the HP Parts Surfer... HP PartSurfer
Your system uses a GTX 1660Ti. The integrated graphics of the CPU will be disabled because of the NVIDIA card installed.
The specs page that you pointed to (including almost all the Omen laptops) is missing important information. It is ridiculous and I'm sorry about that.
