Internal Microphone Not working since first week of Jan'21; any update in drivers ?

Hi,

The internal microphone was functional till first week of Jan'21, but since then it has stopped functioning. The functioning here means unable to transmit voice via any applications on the laptop !

In the settings panel for the microphone, it indicates that it is being used by a windows process. Followed some non-HP support URL's which suggested the privacy settings and others for microphone, but it yielded no outcome !

Also, uninstalled HP Audio Switch, which too didn't help the cause and the microphone is still not functioning. No hardware failure since the Sound Panel indicates that it has detected the Internal Microphone ! 

To add more to it, have uninstalled the microphone drivers from device manager and restarted laptop couple of times for auto installation of drivers, but again, to no avail !

Finally, using external microphone helps the cause, but still the internal microphone needs a fix. Do help me overcome this issue !

Also, if possible, please provide direct links for installing the:

1. HP Audio Switch software

2. B&O application which is touted to be supported by the HP Pavilion laptop model 15-ec0042ax.
