I'll be visiting Chile, and I plan on buying a Victus there, so the question is, would HP accept the warranty in Argentina, if i buy the Victus in Chile?

HP Warranty Coverage Across Countries (Chile → Argentina)

Not all Victus laptops come with a full global warranty.
They are covered by what HP calls “Regional Warranty Coverage.”

Here’s what that means:

If the required spare parts are available in Argentina:

HP Argentina can provide warranty repair, even if the laptop was bought in Chile.
This includes diagnostics, part replacement, and standard warranty service.

⚠️ If the parts are not available in Argentina:

HP Argentina cannot complete the repair locally.
In such cases:

  • The device usually must be serviced in the original purchase country (Chile).
  • HP Argentina will advise you to send the laptop back to Chile for warranty repair.
  • HP cannot import region-specific spare parts across borders due to logistics and regional product variations.

This is standard for consumer models like Victus, Pavilion, Envy, and standard Omen.
