I am planning to buy the HP Omen 15-EN0013DX from one of the best buy stores in usa. I might travel back to india in a couple of months, so i want to know, can i still claim my Warranty in india, if something goes wrong?

My short answer is NO, HP in India would tell you to send machine back to the US for repair if required. This clearly shows in

"HP Global Warranty covers HP products at the level of standard warranty offered in the country in which it is used. For example, a product purchased in country "A" and moved to country "B" receives the current warranty coverage provided by country "B" (if that product is marketed or supported in country B)."
And in India, HP does not sell products ending with dx. You may see tu or tx or something else in India but not dx.
