Is G-Sync available in selected laptop?

Hey,

I'd like to ask if choosen laptop (15-dc1016nw) supports G-Sync option. Im planning a purchase, and I'm really curious, because I can't find any information about it.

Hello @captainsaliva 

HPs specs sheet is lacking important information needed to determine that. I have reported that fact to HP previously and we are waiting for them to fix that info.

In the mean time, the other data base I have access to is down at the moment I write this. IF can get back in today, I will.

Basically, a model in that dc1000 series would have to have the RTX 2070 "and" the 240Hz screen panel. Most units come with only the 60 or 144Hz panel which is not supported.

I found some further info that didn't shed much light. It only states that laptop comes with an FHD 1080p screen.

When specs only give the res, it means the Hz is only 60. The graphics card is a 1660ti 6GB. 

I suspect it will not have built-in Gsync, but will support an external monitor that does.
