HP Omen 15-dc0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My integrated graphics card is the GTX 1080ti and I would like to upgrade it so I can run games at better quality and with a smoother frame rate. I am looking to use the Omen accelerator as an external graphics card and will pair it with a GTX 1080. Looking into the page I am unsure whether my laptop is supported by the accelerator, as it does not specify it on this page:

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/omenaccelerator/overview.html

It does, however, state at the bottom "Compatible with Windows®-based PCs with Thunderbolt™ 3 port.", and I believe i have a a thunderbolt 3 port.

Hello @Myles_

First of all, I need your full product number. Its located in the HP Support Assistant.

IF your system is already rockin a 1080ti on a laptop, the only step up is a 2080ti and its not going to help you game any better on that laptop screen. It will be a complete waste of money. But to each his own.

Let me know what your laptops product number is and I can look up the specs.
