Greetings!
Recently, a severe issue developed externally. I bought the laptop in 2021, 3 years later, the screen casing decided to give up on me and starting breaking around the hinges. Small plastic bits and a few screws from within the screen became loose and ended up falling out. Due to the lack of screws, the casing doesnt hold together and opens up at the slightest movement of the top.
I brought the Laptop to a specialist that apparently was a HP Partner, yet he couldnt exactly find the parts needed for my repair. He told me he would notify me as soon as he found the needed parts, after two weeks or so, I still havent heard anything back.
So my question is, what should I do? Are there no spare parts for my specific Laptop? I really dont want to buy a new one as it is my first computer and one that i genuinely want to keep for as long as i can.
I currently reside in Europe, if that information is necessary.
Edit: Forgot to mention that it is out of warranty
