Omen 15-dc1621nd

I just bought an HP Omen 15≠dc1621nd laptop and a Kensington Clicksafe keyed lock - ultra. When trying to mount it, surprise! it doesn't fit. When I try to look into the lock slot, I can see a smaal metal part that I think obstructs the 90° turning of the small Kensington Clicksafe T-bar. When contacting the reseller, he can't or won't help me, although I have a 3 year on-site repair or immediate replacement warranty. If he has to send a technician and it occurs the laptop is not faulty, I would have to pay for the service! But even he doesn't know without fiscally checking if this lock fits the laptop. He suggested I try another lock. I suggested him to check in his shop with another HP Omen, before sending a technician or to contact HP. Anyway, I have contacted the HP service support chatline. hey also suggested to try another lock. I replied that while designing the laptop, surely HP has tried to mount locks, in particular locks from Kensington, the leading lock brand and designed the laptop-slot accordingly. The only from the guy was literally:

"I apologize for the inconvenience."

"Check with any other type of Kensington Security lock."

"I’m quite taken aback at this unfortunate event that you’re facing now."

"Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

"Thank you for letting me help you today."

I would really like to use the Kensington ClickSafe system, since it prevents from damaging the laptop slot when daily locking/unlocking any other lock system.

Can anyone please help me to find a solution?
