Hi, i got my laptop a few months back and i've been using the OMEN light studio to change the colors but recently i've noticed the 'D' key isn't really changing with the rest of the key board. Currently my entire key board is yellow except the the 'D' key, that is red. When i turn the keyboard to blue it turns a different shade of blue and if i make the lights white the 'D' looks dark purple. Is there a why to fix this?

Hi @Mayagooober,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be a hardware issue with the LED under the 'D' key on your OMEN gaming laptop. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the issue.
- Check OMEN Light Studio Settings: Make sure that the settings for the 'D' key in the OMEN Light Studio are configured correctly. It's possible that there's a misconfiguration causing the color discrepancy.
- Update OMEN Light Studio Software: Ensure that you have the latest version of the OMEN Light Studio software installed on your laptop. Sometimes, software updates can fix bugs or compatibility issues that may be causing problems with the LED lighting.
- Reset OMEN Light Studio Settings: Try resetting the OMEN Light Studio settings to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with inconsistent LED lighting.
- Inspect the LED: If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the LED under the 'D' key itself. You can try gently pressing on the key to see if there's any improvement. However, if the LED continues to display incorrect colors, it may need to be replaced.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue with the inconsistent LED lighting on your OMEN gaming laptop.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
