Can i switch the keyboard of my Omen 17 w101ng with the keyboard of an omen 17 w210ng?
Due to the fact, that there are no parts for the w101ng anymore, i have to change it with another one. The only part available seem to be the w210ng which seem to be identical. Yet i cant confirm this with anyone.
Can someone confirm the compatibility of those to laptop keyboards.
thank you

You need to know part # of new keyboard and check its compatible list. I can't get part # for the HP OMEN by HP - 17-w210ng:
https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=1DL21EA
nor the OMEN by HP - 17-w101ng:
https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=Y5T64EA
Regards.

Thank you for your reply.
Due to the End of life status, even the direct contact at hp couldn't tell me the part numbers, so there seems to be no way to be certain.
Seems it's try and error at this point.
Best Regards
