When i purchased that laptop. There was a label that said it had a varable dedicated video memory. I upgraded memory from 8 gig to 16 gig. It doubled the dedicated video ram i had but it still only have 768 mb of video ram out of 4686. So i sit at 48mb per gig of ram. How can i increase that ratio up. To improve performance in game.
OS: windows 10 64bit
Prossesor: AMD A10-5745M quad-core (2.1 GHz with Turbo Core up to 2.9 GHz, 4 MB cache)
Video card: AMD Radeon HD 8610G

Hello @Guhigh
That model laptop has an AMD APU processor which means the graphics card HD 8610G is actually built into it. The vram is increased as the system thinks is needs automatically and cannot be changed manually.
BTW I assume you know its not a gaming computer, right? What game is it not performing well with and in what way?
