Product: Pavilion 15-au624tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So as we all know that while gaming one should plug in the laptop to maximum performance. Last week my while I was working, I noticed that my battery failed and needed a replacement. I still am able to use the laptop but only when it's plugged in. However I'm getting extremely bad FPS in games since then. I thought one could play games even without the use of battery. I have tried updating my GPU drivers and all but it doesn't fix it. Can someone please let me know what's happening?

Update the windows using the HP support assistant.
