Star Wars Special Edition - Model # 15-AN051DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good day, about a week or so ago my laptop fan began making an incessant whirring or rattling sound. Sometimes a quick knock will stop it from rattling but adjusting the machine even slightly will cause it to start up again.

From looking around, I believe it's a problem with the fan's bearings and that it needs to be replaced. If it needs to be replaced, what model of fan do I need to get and does anyone have a good tutorial I can refer to? Thank you.

Specifics are below. Please let  me know if I need to provide more.

Thank you for responding.

I followed the steps a couple times and the only support it directs me to are these forums or to the virtual agent who isn't all that helpful and isn't connecting me to an HP employee once it finds out my warranty is expired. I'm not seeing a phone number for the US, either.
