@Vinay1231 Welcome to HP Community!

I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:

Unplug the charge, Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.

Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager:

1) In the search box, type and open “Device Manager”.

2) Expand “Batteries”.

3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.

4) Click on “Uninstall”.

5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver

6) Shutdown the computer.

7) Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in.

8- When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.

9) Go to Device Manager.

10) Expand Batteries.

11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.

12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"

Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.

If the issue persists check this link: Click here and also, run a battery and adapter test using the steps mentioned in this link: Click here

Thanks for the answer but i had tried reinstalling the drivers but i never removed battery since it was a closed battery but i will take to some PC expert make them do it

And i will get back to you if it worked or not

@Vinay1231 you can skip the step of removing the battery, if its non-removable, please use the steps from the links shared at the bottom instead, and let us know how that pans out.

Good luck and good day.

My hp laptop also stopped charging at 93 % and shuts down upon unplugging the charger. I contacted my brother who is having exactly the same laptop as mine and checked with his battery. Surprisingly I got the same error. I really don't understand this. If the problem is with my battery then why would it get the same error with his battery? Surprisingly I have seen here in the hp forum, the same 93 % stuck error was reported by vinay1231, and I don't understand why hp laptops are getting this error. I tried all the possibilities including resetting OS, battery driver uninstallation and reinstallation, etc. Hp battery diagnostics shows my battery is perfect.  when I use my laptop without the battery (power plugged in), it shows 255 % available plugged in. I mean it doesn't make any sense of showing 255 % while no battery is present at all.  Can anyone please help me out with any new way (Please don't put the solutions which are already available bcoz I tried all of then and found no use).

I would be most happy if someone confidently says that these above-mentioned batteries were damaged ones. So that I can buy a new one. Please give me a solution...
