i have a HP Pavilion - 15-ec1048ax laptop and when i turn it on, it states the fan is not working correctly, then shuts down after 15 seconds or continues to windows if you press enter.  I cleaned all the air vent with compressed air and still get same mesage when i power up.  how do i open the unit and check/replace the fan myself?
Product no : 1N1G2PA#ACJ

Hello mate!

I can give you some advice, but I'm not an HP employee.

When you start your laptop, The error appears but i need to know what is the exact error. Its 90B/ or other things?

Try refresh and reboot your laptop.

The HP gaming laptops are known of having this problem. I had it myself. I had an 90b error. But I solve it by going into bios( f10 ).

Its there an option " all time fan on" I tap it and then when i reboot the laptop i didn't get the error. Also, my fan works all the time and its useful for my processor. It keeps the things cool.

Probably The fan is not connected in the best way to the motherboard.  Or probably you have an hardware error.

Try going into bios and activate fan always on.

Also, if you are a Ryzen user, maybe the error appears because when you start your laptop, a high voltage of electrify heats up quickly the processor, but for 2-3 seconds, and basically the fans don't have the time to react. You could use Ryzen controller to limit your temperature, and you could also go at processor power management and send the 95% from 100%.

But first you have to tell me what specific error you have, because you need to find the correct diagnostic.

Lemme now!🙂

Also, I suggest you to not open your laptop by yourself. You'll loose the guarantee.

But first lemme now what specific error you have!🙂
