Hiya, I’ve got a hp laptop that was given to me from the council. I now no longer go to school and was wondering if there is anyway to reset it as when I try to reset it, it doesn’t have the option.
Thanks, Jared

Hi, Jared:
The only way that I know of how you can reinstall Windows, would be to do a clean install.
Make the W10 64-bit installation media with the media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Boot from the installation media and if you are asked what version of W10 you want to install, select the version of W10 that is currently installed (Home or Pro).
Then if you are asked to enter a product key, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and then activate after you are connected to the internet.
Then you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
