I have an hp omen 15. Since past month I've been encountering an issue where once the power supply to my laptop switches to battery, it crashes. And it won't start up, like it's not that the battery is disconnected. No. It stats but then it's stuck at the windows loading screen.
I did some digging and apparently it could be a RAM issue. Anyone else here had this or figured out how to fix this?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly, lets perform
Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
BIOS default:
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
If the issue persists, follow next steps.
- 1. Go to Start, search for Device Manager, and open this result.
- 2. Expand batteries.
- 3. Right-click on the ACPI option (usually the 2nd option) and select delete or uninstall. Follow the prompts.
- 4. Shut down the computer.
- 5. Disconnect the charger.
- 6. Remove the battery.
- 7. Hold down the power button for 1 minute.
- 8. Insert the battery only.
- 9. Attempt to turn the battery on.
