So, I had my laptop for o most a year and has been running smoothly , until recently ( about a week or so from posting this).
I have factory reset it, still running slow
optimized it, still running slow

done a full diagnostic and nothing has come up

 

I have a 

AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHz

8.00 GB of ram

64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

and is currently running on window 11

 

please tell me  how I could fix it

I don't know what is your machine. Definitely you changed something therefore you can improve it by adding more RAM and replace its storage (if applicable). I need to know what is your machine to be able to help.

 

Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

For security reason, please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n) on Internet.
