Microsoft Windows 11

I got a new laptop about a month ago and I've been playing CS:GO on it with no problems for most of the month (using a monitor). Suddenly, a few days ago, my var began to spike randomly in the middle of every round and my fps would drop to 10-50 from 200-300 every single time, making the game unplayable. I've tried tweaking some settings in CS and on my laptop and nothing has worked. I don't have any launch settings enabled, and the only thing in CS that I changed recently was going to 4:3 res, but I changed it back and am still having these issues. It also slows down other games like Trackmania and even Football Manager, so I am thinking its a system issue. Any solutions?

There should be a setting for bandwidth in-game. I had the same problem. Try unlimited or strictly limited. I forgot which one, but that's how I fixed it.
