Laptop not holding battery and BIOS resetting on nearly every start-up

Hi everyone! 

A few months back I noticed my laptop had stopped holding battery charge and every time I would unplug it, it would shut down. I posted a question on here and got help so I bought a new battery. I replaced the battery and the laptop seemed to work fine for about 1 or 2 months. 

Recently, however the same issue has started again. On top of that, almost every time I shut off the laptop and turn it on again, upon start-up it will come up with some BIOS error, telling me that they need to be reset. I just need to click the "Enter" button and it does it on its own. Upon doing some research I found that I might have to replace my CMOS battery, but I am not sure and wanted to get feedback from people more knowledgeable than me. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
