Product: HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb076tx

Games run much better when i unplug the laptop. (I use the laptop with an external monitor and peripherals) If i use the laptop plugged in, I will regularly get less than 50 fps. If i use the laptop under the same conditions but unplugged, I will get anywhere from 200-400fps. I can't just use it unplugged because the battery will run out too fast. Please help me find a solution to this problem.

Hello there

Maybe you tried to setup High performance mode tings but you miss the tab and did it into the battery tab ? 

Able in Nvidia Geforce Optimizations menus
or
even windows, Power Option, find the "advanced" text button and there you can make sure of what is asked to pc when plugged
