Hello @Cormair

Ya, sounds like your battery has failed.

You can run a battery test from the UEFI Diagnostics partition.

Rapidly tap F2 when you press the power button to turn the laptop on.

In the options, go to Component Tests and then to Power. Run the test.

It will probably give you a failure notice when done.

If you are under warranty still, you can contact HP Support for a claim.

Thanks for the reply @Photoray002. I cant get the laptop to boot so i cant enter BIO's. I have since tried the AC adapter on a friends laptop and it charged so I think my problem might be within mine. Sadly I am no longer under warranty so I am trying to figure out what the problem is so I can buy the part and fix my laptop. Do you think its a bad cable from my AC Adapter to my  MB?

Disconnect the battery, then plug the ac adapter in and see if it wiil run now.

Its OK to run the laptop without a battery.

If it will still not turn on at all, there is probably a failure on the mother board.
