Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

pavillion Ec1006-na Laptop , worked totally fine then one day it wouldn't power on at all , solid white charging light next to the power cable , charging cable works in another laptop so it's not the charger 

 

I've popped off the back cover and unplugged the battery for 60 seconds then plugged it back in but doesn't work 

 

I've ordered a new battery incase it's that which seems likely to be fair but is there anything else I should check?
