Hi,
I look for help in updating my Bios so I can set a charge limit for my battery in Omen16.
I tried proposed bios update from the topic below - but it didn't work for me -I tried all different way.
Screens don't appear tome as in the instructions - I don't see HP BIOS Update and Recovery window (Update the BIOS manually from within Windows- step 9 fails)
Please assist as I don't have much more to lose anymore...
I must admit it's very disappointing that Omen16 don't have this feature built in even though omen both 15 and 17 have it.
HP OMEN16 Laptop 16-c0322nw
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics, 3201 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date AMI F.19, 09/01/2023
BaseBoard Product 8902
Kind Regards,
Rudgar

There is NO option for you to do that on your machine. Please try the following ways to keep battery on your machine healthy

Hi @Banhien
Thank you, even though this sounds sad and dissapointing 😕
First link you sent doesn't open.
Is there really no way to do that? E.g. Is there some way to update BIOS using Omen15 version so this function becomes available?
HP Should really fix that, as there is no outside provider program capable to do this. Where can I put this kind of ehnancment request?
Kind Regards and many thanks,
Rudgar
