I'm trying to find the best SSD to improve my PC speed. I would love any recommendations of what can work with my current PC.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

 

Asking for "the best SSD" from us is bound to be subjective. Based on your budget, you can go cheap, and you can go easily (very) expensive.

 

Your OMEN by HP - 15-dc0052nr (3ZW93UA) laptop has an M.2 NVMe SSD slot, which I would choose as my primary (boot) drive to (really) speed things up.  According to HP PartSurfer, your laptop accepts gen3 M.2 NVMe SSDs.  Meaning, even if you were to install a gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD, your laptop will only run this drive at gen3 speeds.

 

All things considered, including pricing and overall customer satisfaction -including yours truly, there are two M.2 NVMe SSD picks you should consider, the Samsung 980 being my first pick:
