Hello HP-Community,

I am really happy with my notebook, but have a lot of difficulties when playing VALORANT.

My FPS is dropping from the maximum of roughly 90-100 to 10-20 from one second to another, e.g. when there is a lot stuff happening on my screen. As far as i remember this was the problem from the start when i installed the software in 11/2020.

I have already tried the following steps:

-Installed newest INTEL-Drivers  and their support tells me that im up-to-date including BIOS, wireless, graphics, etc.

-Lowest possible grafics setting in-game - including some tweaks like lower the resolution-stretch to 50% and no v-synch

-Used the Power plan performance mode and adjusted the avanced windows performance mode

-Disabled and Enabled the windows gaming-mode including xbox-replay settings

-Disbled full-screen optimization in valorant-exe settings

-Prioritzied Valorant in Task-Manager

...this all lead to a nice fps increase from roughly 50-60 fps to 90-100 but could not prevent the ongoing drops to 10-20 fps.

In-Game the FPS-error message is popping-up all the time throughout the whole match.

My notebook always gets very hot especially when i am gaming, but this is occuring as well when if i am just in the Internet watching Twitch/Youtube.

I know that my notebook is at the lower-end of the spectrum, but at least i would like to have stable fps around 60 according to my monitor refresh rate. I do not know what else to do but I am sure that somebody can help.

Regards and thanks in advance,

Christian
