Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I dont know that it happens for everybody or just me ,  I have HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0268tx ,               08/10/21

So compared to other laptops my laptops performs really bad , like other laptops Acer Nitro , Lenovo Legion , with exact same specs i5 9th , gtx 1650 4gb ddr4 , ram 8 gb ,  which is quite same for every  laptop at this budget segment .. but when games like CS:GO or Gta V

are played on this laptop the its performs 30-45% lower than the other laptops, it really gives some low fps , even after updating my bios , driver , windows and etc, It just doesn't work at all. I dont know if there is any software or hardware lock on the windows or motherboard but it doesnt sum for the money I paid for. Even compared with other Hp Pavilion gaming 15 series like dk , ac and etc. And the fans doesn't go at there full potential speed I know that because when I updated the bios

those fans where working at the full potential while the cpu temp was nearly 60 C  and when   while gaming CS:GO it reached 90-95 C still didn't hear or feel the same fan speed there , i think this some software issues , Hp should provide an answer whether the laptop is caped or not. my graphics card doesn't provide me the fps it should you guys understand right ? , these laptops are underperforming.

Hi@Death_Wish,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Apologize for the issue with performances issue. We understand it's a new notebook lets try a few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.

Check for the BIOS Update?

Tried Adding the game to High performances in the Nivida control panel?

Download GEFORCE EXPERIENCE updates the gaming drivers.

Turn on Game Mode. Game Mode is a new feature in Windows 10 Update that improves gaming performance by limiting background processes and programs from using system resources while a game is running.

Press the Windows key and G to open the Game bar.

In the game bar, click Settings.

Click the check box next to the game title to enable Game Mode for that game.

Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
