Hello Community 

 

I want to upgrade my Omen, but i dont know what is the capacity of the M2 SSD port, and i dont want to buy any that would hurt my machine... can somebody help me with that?

 

My NB is an OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ce002LA

Here is the Service Manual:

 

Manual

 

HDD = red M.2 = blue circleHDD = red M.2 = blue circle

 

It will support the fastest kind of M.2 disk, PCIe/NVME. The largest HP offered was a 512 gig but you could install something larger capacity than that although it would be very expensive. 

 

Pages 36 and 37 of the manual show how to access the drive slots. 

 

This is the HP part number of the 512 gig M.2 disk:

 

512 GB 847110-020

 

HP gets a pretty high price for it:

The same disk on amazon.com with options up to 1 TB:

Thank you, but im  really  doubtful about the quantity of memory i can put, you're sure that theres NOT  problem if i put 1TB?

Yes if a 512 will work so will a 1 TB of the same model M.2 disk.
