Hello, I have an issue when it comes to configuring macros. The problem is, that I ma able to configure them just fine.  (Fn+F9 for pause)

Yet, they dont seem to work. Furthermore, they seem to change to a different key upon pressing the macro key in a search bar for example, the key gets reasiggned to a seemingly random letter. Macro key P6 gets reasigned to G, P1 gets the letter p, P2 gets h, etc.

How can i solve this issue so that i can use macro keys for functions like Volume Down or Media Pause?

Hello again, sorry for the late response.

Unfortunately, this had no effect on the problem. I can provide video footage of the problem if you want to.

This is a very specific problem !

For an expensive gaming notebook, you can expect the software to work flawlessly. The OMEN software must know the keyboard layout (key codes) and language.

Please contact HP support if the device is still under warranty. Even if it is out of warranty the software should be fixed, because it is a bug !

Good luck
