Although, I have paid for an additional year one year of warranty, the system shows that my warranty has expired.
With that being said, HP refuses to tell me the maximum amount of memory that the Victus 15-fa1062nr can manage without faulting.
All of that aside, I've installed 64 Gig of memory into my laptop it continues to crash. I removed one 32 gig stick and the system still crashed.
The bios shows 32Gig with a single stick, but it still crashes.
The bios show 0gig and crashes with two 32 Gig sticks.
I personally don't think it will handle move that two 16 Gig sticks.
I called messaged microcenter today, they stated that the laptop can use up to 64Gig of memory.
It is possible that the memory provider sold me trash, but that don't excuse HP from ignoring my question.
The memory supplier states that this processor will handle 96Gig of memory.
They are sending me 2 more sticks of 32 Gig Memory, I personally don't think it will work.
As a note: 1 stick of 32 and 1 stick of 8 does show up as 40 gig of memory in the bios, but it still crashes
Even with 64Gig of memory, windows displays 64 gig of memory when the Bios displays 0 Gig.
I've also purchased my wife the fa2, but because of HPs BS, this will be my last HP laptop.
I was going to buy my daughter one for her birthday, soon. I am done with HP.
