HP Omen 15-ce019dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased my HP Omen 15-ce019dx a few years ago as a Christmas/College present to myself. At that time one of the features listed was an infared camera compatible with Windows Hello, but now that I finally have gotten around to trying to set up Windows Hello I found that my laptop is listed as not compatible.

After many hours of trying to diagnose the issue, thinking it may be an outdated driver, I decided to look at the HP Customer support page because I had my laptop registered as me being the owner. This is the picture that showed up for the laptop I owned; there is clearly an IR Camera on the top bezel. I also matched the SKU and Model number on my current laptop shown below.

The problem is, the laptop I currently have in my possession does not have this camera on the top bezel. It has A camera, but ot the one shown in the picture. Picture of my top bezel down below. (Please excuse camera cover)

Is this a revision thing? Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a replacement faceplate I can put on that will give me the functionality?

Thanks for your time.

TL;DR Model and SKU Number on my laptop show a different-featured laptop when I look it up and HP Support website shows the same different-featured laptop.
