Hi, I have a Pavilion 15-cx0017nl and i need to know if I can going to remove the bottom panel of the pc without voiding the warranty to make a better clean of the fans using a can of compressed air. Can I remove the bottom panel of the pc without voiding the warranty?
I would also be interested to know one more thing: I currently have 8GB of ram (2x4GB) and I would be tempted to upgrade and change the ram to 16GB (2x8GB). Can I upgrade without violating the warranty or do I have to wait for it to expire?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Q1. Can I remove the bottom panel of the pc without voiding the warranty?
A1. No one can answer this question. I always say Warranty is a grey/gray area. If nothing went wrong then no problem otherwise you may have to prove that was not your fault. Hope this makes sense.
Q2. Upgrade RAM:
A2. Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06262511
It has 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) now and supports 32GB max. You can upgrade to
(a) 16GB: Using the following compatible RAM

(b) 32GB: Using the following compatible RAM

Regards.
