Mother Board Supports dual channel ram??

 Hello,

can not find if my motherboard support dual channel ram and more than 2,400 MHz.. anyone can help?

Hi:

Yes, it has two memory slots and it can support up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.

The memory will not run any faster than 2400 MHz, so buying faster memory than 2400 MHz memory will not do anything.

So dual channel or quad channel means the slots a motherboard have?

That is correct...but I never heard of quad channel.

4 slots is also dual channel as long as you install the same capacity memory in slots 1 & 3 and 2 & 4.
