Hello.
I have several problems with my laptop.
Background: Several days ago I downloaded the sp111733.exe (BIOS F.56, downloaded from hp.com) and updated my laptop, after the update, it only shows me a black screen and I tried WIN+B / WIN+V etc. but didn't work.
Problem: I wrote a 0820D.bin (Copy from sp111733.exe) file into the BIOS chip on the motherboard through a CH341A programmer, then my laptop can startup but the Motherboard ID was changed from 8257 to 820D, the OMEN LOGO on the splash screen was also changed to HP LOGO, and every time startup it will show "Product Information not valid" on the screen.
I tried the nbdmifit/wndmifit Tool to fill information in and didn't work.
Can anyone help me change the Board ID back to 8257 and fix the information missing problem, thx

Problem solved: I saved a bin file from another laptop (15-bc011tx) and wrote it to my laptop through ch341a programmer, then everything goes well, no errors reminded.
Differences: the product name, SKU number, SN, product number, feature type, etc... all information turn into another laptop's. The splash screen remain HP LOGO but not OMEN LOGO, and the system board ID remain 820D but not 8257. While it has no effect in use and my laptop was out of warranty so never mind.
