Hey there! @1Tawheed, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Community!

Is the hard drive listed on the BIOS page?

Have you replaced the hard drive on the PC?

Generally speaking, BOOTMGR is short for Windows Boot Manager, which refers to a small piece of software that is loaded from the volume boot code.

The partition is labelled as a system reserved without a drive letter. If there is no system reserved partition, BOOTMGR probably locates on your primary partition C.

So the bootmgr file on your PC has got corrupted or deleted due to which you are unable to boot into your PC or perform a recovery from the partition.

Try the steps recommended below and check if it helps.

  1. Turn off the computer.

  2. Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.

  3. Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices.

  4. Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

  5. Remove the battery from the battery compartment.

  6. Press and hold down the Power button for 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge.

  7. Insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the notebook computer.

  8. Press the Power button to turn on the computer.

  9. If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, then press the Enter key.

  10. Reconnect each of the peripheral devices.

Restore BIOS default settings

Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
Press F10 to Save and Exit.
Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Lastly, try running a system diagnostics test on the PC and check if the hardware components on the PC are functioning correctly.

Let me know if this works!
